This years event say a hare and hound race on friday evening that took the baloonos across the Ohio River into Ohio where it is less populated and few roads, making some recoveries slightly longer than anticiapted but all were back by shortly after dark. First place was Don Trap and Second place Joh Tintron. Saturday morning saw winds from the opposite direction and a two part task was called by balloonmiester Mike Wade. The first was a fly in to the field with a watership downs out of the field. The field of balloons took off 1 mile away and all missed the field as the low left went away quickly. The hare balloon flew for over 45 minutes but this was plenty of time to get infront of the pack and allow for 4 scores on the target. Travis Vencel was fist with a drop of 2 feet with Don Trap second, Jayde Wade third and Charlie Maze Jr. fourth. Saturday evening was reserved for a balloon glow and no competition for flights. The day saw thunderstorms in the area for most of the afternoon but the weather parted just before sunset and all 24 balloons were able to glow for the crowd.
